Our Famous Cuban Sandwich

Cuban Sandwich:

Many immigrants flowed into Florida with cigar industry. Ham and cheese “Cuban Sandwich” was catered towards many Cuban workers in Tampa and Key West area.

Buttered Cuban bread, yellow mustard, mojo marinated slow roast pork, glazed ham, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles are added in layers in between the bread. The sandwich is then pressed in plancha until the bread surface is crispy and the cheese is melted. Tampa has many Italian population, which includes salami in their Cuban sandwich.

Our Famous Cuban Sandwich

“I’ve tried Cuban sandwich at several location including Versailles cafe at the airport, but it’s just not the same as their restaurant version. Rich butter taste combined with toasted sandwich makes this the Famous Cuban Sandwich.”

French Onion Soup

“Perfect amount of melted cheese with herbs and sweet onion makes this soup simple yet flavorful. I think it is well worth accompanying a main dish or a sandwich. Either way, you won’t regret ordering their French onion soup.”

The Famous Cuban Restaurant

People are waiting in the small parking area outside the restaurant especially weekends and dinner time but they usually call you in for a table just in a few minutes.

Bakery section is also provided for to-go customers. The display is full of South American pastries. Varieties of sandwiches will not bore you even if it’s your second visit of the day.

Hot Cuban style empanadas here are generous in size, I can substitute them for breakfast if eaten with their Cuban coffee.

Sky Life

This is the famous Cuban restaurant in Miami in Little Havana, but it’s still my go-to restaurant for Cuban food.

Close from the airport, and I can take my crew out for a meal here and everyone will surely enjoy their choice. The menu offers many many dishes worth trying out.
